Russ was prone to being somewhat philosophical which would more often than not mean he was going to be long winded as well. Fortunately for me and others he did have a knack of keeping you engaged; at least for the most part.

I well remember one of his self endorsed "truisms" when after he had droned on for quite some time and perhaps saw the glazed look in my eyes; he would lean forward and say with a cocky grin "Well my friend why say blah when you can say blah, blah, blah!"

So in keeping with the man and his innate talent for blah - thering, I thank you for persevering as you read my various articles and comments from time to time. It is my intent to post something here every week and it is my fervent hope to keep you as engaged as did my mentor for me.
